Core progression
Awakening
Awakening is Tale of Titan's persistent character progression. Combat and supported activities fill the current Awakening bar; reaching 100% advances the character and begins the next Awakening.
One continuous journey
Progress is measured from 0% to 100% for every Awakening.Earn progress
Defeating monsters grants progress based on the final reward and the character's current Awakening. Supported scripted rewards use the same progression bar.
Grow at checkpoints
Every 10% checkpoint applies one tenth of the next Awakening's vocation gains. Health, mana and movement progression therefore improve during the journey, not only at 100%.
Complete an Awakening
At 100%, the Awakening count increases, the remaining overflow is preserved, core stats are recalculated and one character-stat point is awarded.
Protected progress
Death can remove part of the current bar, reduced by blessings and unfair-fight protection, but it cannot cross the last completed 10% checkpoint.
Follow a character's complete build
Character profiles show exact inspected equipment and attributes, selected talent cards, skill-tree choices, collection bonuses, staged achievements, quests and the combined Power Rating.
